About the position

The HR Business Partner Director at Vestas People & Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR landscape within our manufacturing operations. This position is designed for a strategic leader who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR processes, programs, and initiatives that align with our organizational goals. The successful candidate will oversee critical areas such as employee relations, immigration, workforce planning, performance management, retention strategies, and succession planning. This role is essential in ensuring that HR initiatives are seamlessly executed and effectively support our managers and the broader organization. In this dynamic position, the HR Business Partner Director will serve as a trusted advisor to functional clients, working collaboratively to plan, develop, and implement actionable people strategies. The focus will be on fostering a productive culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and teamwork. The director will lead change management efforts, ensuring that our workforce is fully engaged and developed to meet the evolving needs of the business. This role requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing sector and the ability to translate business objectives into effective HR practices that drive performance and employee satisfaction. The HR Business Partner Director will also be responsible for analyzing workforce trends and metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning. By leveraging data and insights, the director will help identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within HR processes. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Business Partner and work with functional clients to plan, develop and implement concrete people strategies.

  • Engage and develop employees to meet business objectives.
  • Deliver strategic support to assigned client groups through alignment of HR initiatives to business goals.
  • Oversee employee relations, immigration, workforce planning, performance management, retention strategies, and succession planning.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, particularly in employee relations and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with workforce metrics and data analysis.
