About the position

The HR Director will execute HR strategy across multiple functional areas within the HR department, focusing on talent and performance management, recruiting, employee relations, training and development, regulatory compliance, HR reporting and analytics, and the implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. This role is based onsite in Dalton, GA, and includes a relocation package.

Responsibilities

  • Execute human resources campus strategies in all HR functional areas, programs, and practices.
  • Partner with campus leaders and employees to enhance business results and drive employee engagement.
  • Manage and lead investigations/actions for the compliance hotline for Tarkett, Dalton Campus.
  • Influence change and innovation to advance campus strategies.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive change initiatives.
  • Participate in full cycle recruitment efforts, including attracting and assessing candidate capabilities.
  • Drive employee engagement efforts through execution of bi-annual employee feedback survey and development of engagement strategy.
  • Manage employee relations and assist in counseling employees and conducting exit interviews.
  • Measure and drive improvement of key HR metrics/scorecard by analyzing data and providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Cross-train with other HR colleagues to ensure backup and coverage across the function.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience including a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment required.
  • 2+ years of HR team management preferably in a multilocation environment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources administration.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS experience (Workday preferred).
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
