About the position

The HR Director at Snipebridge will oversee the people services operations within a dynamic healthcare organization. This role focuses on enhancing employee relations and fostering a positive organizational culture while ensuring compliance with HR regulations. The ideal candidate will lead HR initiatives, manage staffing and recruitment, and develop training programs to support employee growth and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Formulates and recommends program goals and objectives in all areas of co-worker relations.
  • Develops, implements, and administers the co-worker relations area of the personnel program to improve co-worker relations.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Supervises and provides direction to subordinate staff engaged in developing and administering recruitment and selection procedures and personnel policies.
  • Supervises and directs onboarding of new employees, including eligibility determination for hire and orientation processes.
  • Investigates problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances, providing guidance for resolution.
  • Prepares and presents required and special reports, including the operating budget for the Human Resources Department.
  • Evaluates performance of co-workers and recommends hiring, promotion, termination, and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

  • Ten years of experience in HR management, with five years in a leadership position as a director or assistant director.
  • Strong knowledge of co-worker relations and principles of Human Resource Management.
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field.
  • Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to human resources.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM Certified PHR or SPHR is preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
