About the position

The HR Director at Diamond Envelope Corporation will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's human resource strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and training and development. The HR Director will serve as a trusted resource for both employees and leadership, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and programs while contributing to the overall strategy and growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts and develop talent acquisition best practices.
  • Manage payroll administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely processing.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollment and employee inquiries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and conflict resolution support.
  • Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Conduct workplace safety audits and assist in training programs on safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement compensation strategies and manage employee benefits programs.
  • Train and onboard new hires, leading all aspects of the training lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and participate in HR projects for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of human resources experience in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions including payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Experience in a family-owned company is a distinct advantage.
