About the position

The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, enhancing talent management processes, and ensuring compliance with employment labor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Oversee talent management initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on best practices in human resources management.
  • Manage HR information systems such as Dayforce and Paylocity to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors and service providers to enhance HR services.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process to attract top talent.
  • Design organizational structures that promote efficiency and effectiveness within the workforce.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on talent management and organizational design.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
  • Proficiency in HR sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (1 year preferred)
  • Professional In Human Resources certification (preferred)
