About the position

The HR Director at Chick-fil-A is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions within the restaurant, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations, and managing employee benefits. This role involves onboarding new team members, handling employee discipline, and maintaining personnel files, while also providing administrative support for payroll and office operations. The HR Director plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the development of team members.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard all new team members, ensuring documentation compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all local & federal regulations
  • Create and modify systems to ensure compliance with all regulations, including OSHA
  • Facilitate and manage all employee benefits
  • Track disciplinary write-ups and lead disciplinary conversations as needed
  • Lead and document investigations into harassment claims and take necessary action
  • Problem-solve employee conflicts and provide recommended courses of action
  • Assist with providing proper care and response following workplace injuries
  • Maintain all personnel files
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide final documentation upon a team member's last day
  • Maintain time punches and check for errors in payroll
  • Submit bi-weekly payroll and ensure prompt and accurate delivery to team members
  • Assist with year-end W-2's
  • Track and manage all leaves of absences and vacation time
  • Input and maintain vendor information and track charges for consistency
  • Pay all bills in a timely manner and ensure all bills are paid in the month they are received
  • Submit month-end package
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organization
  • Answer phone calls during peak times
  • Maintain restaurant email account
  • Order uniforms and manage change fund ordering

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • Mid-level experience in HR or related field
