About the position

The HR Director will play a crucial role in aligning the human resources strategy with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This position involves overseeing various HR functions including compliance, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, recruitment, and safety programs. The HR Director will collaborate with the executive team to ensure effective HR practices that support the growth and development of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the executive team to understand organizational goals related to growth, training, staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Stay updated on federal and state employment law and advise leadership on compliance matters.
  • Guide management through employee relations issues and ensure prompt investigation of complaints.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic compensation program and monitor existing policies.
  • Oversee the administration of all benefit programs and manage relationships with brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and train staff on timekeeping practices.
  • Develop recruitment strategies and manage the hiring process.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process and provide training for managers.
  • Create and manage the employee onboarding process.
  • Maintain the Workers' Compensation program and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
