About the position

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join us as the Director of Human Resources (HR) Business. This role is involved in planning, designing, and implementing HR programs, policies, and activities to support the organizational transformation. You'll establish a strong rapport with key stakeholders and organizational leaders, and work strategically to optimize HR outcomes. Your daily duties will involve advocating for workplace safety, promoting teamwork and a positive attitude, fostering creativity and innovation, and staying up-to-date with the latest HR legislation and best practices. As the Director of HR Business, you will shape strategies to create and maintain a positive organizational culture that aligns with our company's values and business objectives. Additionally, the role includes oversight of comprehensive employee engagement programs, and handling recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and terminations. You will also lead internal communication strategies to foster unity and transparency within the organization. Your analytical skills will come in handy when reviewing HR performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that strategic goals are achieved. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the HR Manager and their subordinate staff, which includes spearheading the hiring and training processes and resolving any employment issues that may arise. Ideal candidates should have possess a combination of a Master's Degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of relevant work experience are required. Strong communication skills, mathematical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in spreadsheet and word processing software applications are strongly desired. We also prefer candidates with a law degree. The role has certain physical demands, including regular sitting, occasional standing and walking, and infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
