About the position

The HR Employee Relations Professional plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and resolving conflicts effectively. This position requires a strong background in employee relations, labor laws, and exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance employee engagement and promote a respectful workplace.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations issues.
• Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to improve employee engagement and workplace culture.
• Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics to provide actionable insights.
• Design and deliver training programs on conflict resolution and employee rights.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of employee relations policies and procedures.
• Act as a neutral mediator to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records of all employee relations cases and investigations.
• Participate in special projects related to employee relations and HR programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain trust.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certification from a recognized HR organization (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
• Experience working in a multi-site or global environment.
