This includes managing employment verification processing, records management, compliance activities, and support for health and welfare benefits. Additionally, the HR Generalist will serve as the backup for payroll processing, ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are handled accurately and timely when the primary payroll processor is unavailable. The role requires administering employee benefits programs operationally, which encompasses health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. The HR Generalist will coordinate open enrollment processes for employee benefits, providing administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment period. They will also serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits packages, 401(k) inquiries, loans, and hardship requests, offering support to resolve questions and issues. Compliance is a critical aspect of this role, as the HR Generalist will maintain adherence to applicable laws and regulations while managing the operational aspects of health and welfare benefits. In addition to benefits administration, the HR Generalist will deliver new hire orientation to ensure that new employees are informed about CBI's employee benefits program, policies, and procedures. They will assist in the administration of the company's drug-free workplace program and handle compliance-driven activities related to HR operations. The role also supports recruitment processes by managing job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and pre-employment background screenings. The HR Generalist will provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters and company policies, supporting their understanding and adherence to organizational standards.
