About the position

The Human Resources Generalist at Deployed Services, LLC will play a crucial role in partnering with site business leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with business objectives. This position is responsible for providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and practices, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and uphold the mission, values, and culture of the organization
  • Partner with management staff to support site, departmental, and corporate goals
  • Participate in the analysis of appropriate staffing levels based on business demands
  • Implement employee training and development programs in collaboration with the Training department
  • Support management in handling employee relations matters, including investigating sensitive situations and facilitating conflict resolution
  • Escalate HR-related concerns to appropriate management staff as necessary
  • Compile and prepare data for EEO and Affirmative Action reporting/plan requirements
  • Maintain and report data related to headcount, turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and trends
  • Lead specific HR-related projects as assigned, making recommendations for future action
  • Participate in annual benefit renewals and open enrollment processes in coordination with corporate directives
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and standard business software packages
  • Ability to use HRIS related computer programs and software; experience with UKG Workforce preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends and collaborate with business partners to resolve matters
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as the organization operates 24/7/365
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Five plus years of experience with employee relations in skilled trade-based environments as an HRBP or HR Generalist
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification desired
  • Organizational experience in government contracting environments and/or Collective Bargaining Agreements and Service Contract Act (SCA) highly desirable
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) desired
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
