About the position

The HR Generalist at Hanwha Convergence USA Corp is responsible for enhancing the human resources department's functions by planning, implementing, and developing training and onboarding programs, administering employee benefits, and managing payroll. This role involves responding to employee inquiries, maintaining compliance with legal requirements, and improving employee performance through coaching and counseling. The HR Generalist will also prepare reports and protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review and update HR and employee-related forms to ensure compliance.
• Assist with developing and implementing training and onboarding programs.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
• Schedule and conduct new employee orientation activities.
• Identify and clarify problems to improve manager and employee performance.
• Complete special projects by setting objectives and conducting research.
• Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing data and trends.
• Maintain confidentiality to protect the organization's value.
• Comply with legal requirements and advise management on necessary actions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing employee development and training programs.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Computer experience with knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Public speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize, synthesize, and analyze complex information.
• Persuasion and influence skills in sensitive situations.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Sound judgment in decision-making.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safe work practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
