About the position

The HR Generalist at UGI Corporation will collaborate with assigned field operations client groups to implement people-related initiatives, focusing on performance management, employee and labor relations, and talent management. This role serves as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries and supports various HR functions, ensuring effective execution of policies and procedures while enhancing employee engagement and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with field operations, business leaders, and HR partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR topics and provide effective resolutions.
  • Partner with Sr. HRBPs to provide day-to-day HR support for policies, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management guidance.
  • Enhance engagement strategies with field managers to improve work relationships and retention.
  • Lead investigations to resolve employee relations issues and develop strategies for trends with Sr. HRBPs and leaders.
  • Support the HR team on interim projects and key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role in a corporate environment.
  • Strong ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to drive decision-making.
  • Experience in driving alignment and adoption of HR programs and initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
