The HR Generalist I (Benefits) position at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems focuses on benefits administration and various human resource responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies.
• Implements human resources programs by providing HR services, including recruiting, staffing, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records.
• Collects and analyzes internal and external information to compare the organization's HR practices to market standards.
• Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
• Supports the administration of benefits programs such as life, health & wellness, and disability insurance.
• Assists with wellness programs to support employees' physical, emotional, social, and financial wellbeing.
• Identifies and incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in benefits programs.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree required.
• 0-3 years prior experience relevant to the position's functional area.
• Knowledge of human resources theories, practices, and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in benefits administration.
