About the position

The HR Generalist I (Benefits) at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is responsible for administering various human resources programs, with a primary focus on benefits administration. Responsibilities

• Implement and administer human resources programs or policies.
• Provide human resources services including recruiting, staffing, and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
• Complete personnel transactions and maintain associated records.
• Collect and analyze internal and external information to compare HR practices with market standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Support the administration of benefits programs such as life, health & wellness, and disability insurance.
• Assist with wellness programs to support employees' wellbeing.
• Identify and incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in benefits programs.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree required in Human Resources or Business Management.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in human resources or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and make decisions.
• Interpersonal skills and good judgment.
