About the position

We are in search of an HR Generalist II to join our team based in Hanover, Maryland. This role primarily involves administering human resources policies and procedures across multiple functional areas. Responsibilities

  • Administer human resources policies and procedures across two or more functional areas.
  • Collect and analyze HR data, using the findings to make recommendations to management.
  • Process paperwork for various functional areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Utilize standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of human resources.
  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
  • Employ a degree of creativity and latitude in daily tasks.
  • Oversee worker's compensation and QA management.
  • Supervise certain HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Must possess skills in planning and organizing.
  • Demonstrable experience in HR procedures and practices.
  • Should have previous experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration.
  • Supervising skills are required.
  • Should be proficient in handling benefit functions and paperwork.
  • Must be knowledgeable about company policy.
  • Creativity is a key skill for this role.
  • Experience in Worker's Compensation is required.
  • Should have skills in QA Management.
  • Familiarity with HR related software and digital platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM) is preferred.
  • Must be adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Must be capable of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation are necessary.
  • Experience in training and development is a plus.
  • Must have a strong ethical and detail oriented standard.
