About the position

The HR Generalist & Payroll Specialist at RISE Association Management Group is responsible for managing payroll administration and general HR functions to ensure smooth HR operations. This role includes maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment efforts, managing employee benefits, and fostering positive employee relations within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare payroll for 150 employees in Paylocity, verify employee timecards, and address payroll inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist in job postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and prepare offer letters.
  • Conduct new hire orientation, complete onboarding documentation in Paylocity, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and address benefits inquiries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related issues and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Assist with performance review processes and track completion.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and conduct record audits.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills, both internal and external.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry, including 10-key typing.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Paylocity and 1 year of experience in payroll processing.
  • General understanding of basic accounting principles and HR laws.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience in employee relations and training coordination.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary within the range of $60,000 - $65,000.
