Responsibilities

  • Accurately process payroll on a regular basis using specific software
  • Maintain precise records of employee data in payroll systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
  • Collaborate with the HR department to verify information on employee benefits, deductions, leaves, etc.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and documents for reference and analysis
  • Streamline payroll practices to improve efficiency and automate processes
  • Understand the working hours, overtime, shift differentials, etc., of the workforce to process accurate payroll
  • Work closely with human resources and accounting teams
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Possesses experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Familiar with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Skilled in using Ceridian and Dayforce
  • Has knowledge of Benefit Functions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of compliance requirements in HR and payroll
  • Experience in handling Employee Relations
  • Knowledgeable in the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and payroll systems
  • Ability to ensure accuracy of payroll documents and data
  • Experience in processing payroll changes and adjustments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Knowledge of current payroll tax requirements and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
