About the position

The HR Generalist position at one of the largest manufacturing companies in the area involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing employee relations, managing HR processes, and supporting the overall HR function. This role is crucial for coordinating projects, analyzing HR metrics, and promoting a positive company culture while ensuring compliance with HR guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating projects including data gathering, analysis, and budgeting to assist with process improvement.
  • Coaching managers on employee relations issues.
  • Assisting with the setup and rollout of the annual Compensation Planning cycle.
  • Assisting with the Performance Management cycle and ensuring managers adhere to guidelines.
  • Promoting company culture, achievements, and current programs.
  • Gathering and analyzing key HR metrics and producing ad hoc reports and queries as required.
  • Coaching HR staff on following standard procedures and maintaining systems data integrity.
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on data related to employee headcount, recruitment, terminations, onboarding, employee satisfaction, and total rewards program to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • BA Degree in Business or related field, concentration in HR preferred.
  • Professional HR Certification.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Experience working with HR systems including SAP, Kronos, SuccessFactors LMS, Share Point, Taleo.
  • Experience with change management, policy implementation, employee relations, recruitment, benefits and compensation, and policy interpretation is required.
  • Previous experience in a high tech environment is preferred.
  • Experience in a global manufacturing or multiple site production company.
  • Aptitude for data management, information systems, and report writing.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information to management and employees.
  • Ability to successfully perform data analysis and provide interpretations as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a high tech environment is preferred.
