X-energy is seeking an HR Generalist that is responsible for both administrative and strategic, functional responsibilities, which align with the organization's Human Capital Management, Human Resources (HR) business operations unit. This position shares responsibility for ensuring efficient business operations through the effective management and execution of the day-to-day operational tasks under the purview of the HR business unit. HR operations responsibilities include onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll interface, performance management, the HR mailbox, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) updates, and other activities that support overall HR Operations. The HR Generalist will provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, organizational change, and other HR operations-related matters. This role will support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise and respond to staff inquiries regarding HR-related topics or issues. The HR Generalist will also participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing operational reports as required, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws. In addition, the HR Generalist will manage the HR mailbox, ensuring same-day acknowledgment of all emails during business hours and provide issue resolution to the recipient within 48 business hours. They will maintain consistent communication with the recipient if extenuating circumstances prevent compliance with resolution timeframe guidelines until the issue is resolved. The role also involves facilitating the onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate HR files, conducting exit interviews, and providing support for payroll administration. The HR Generalist will drive efforts of continual process improvement to ensure an excellent onboarding and offboarding experience, while also maintaining compliance with E-Verify and USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
