About the position

Farnsworth Group is seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to work in our Phoenix, AZ office supporting staff and managers in the region. As a member of our team, you will partner with management and the leadership team in various HR functions including workforce planning, employee engagement, career development, performance management, and policy interpretation and implementation. You will play a crucial role in contributing to a strong culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the organization. In this position, you will support managers in employee relations and performance management, assist in onboarding and orientation, and participate in interviews. Your presence will be visible to our employees, fostering engagement and support. You will also be expected to uphold Farnsworth Group's core values of Integrity, Loyalty, Fairness, and Excellence, ensuring that these principles are reflected in all HR activities and interactions. Responsibilities

  • Partner with management and leadership team in workforce planning, employee engagement, career development, performance management and policy interpretation and implementation
  • Contribute to a strong culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Support managers in employee relations and performance management
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation and participates in interviews
  • Provide visible HR presence to our employees that support engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • A minimum of 8 years of human resource generalist experience is required
  • HR Certifications, PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Effective interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels within the organization
  • Proven skills in leadership, project management and people management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands and work independently
