About the position

The HR Generalist at ITW Automotive will lead HR operations and support strategic HR initiatives, acting as a coach and confidant to managers on various HR topics. This role involves advising on organizational effectiveness, talent management, performance management, and employee relations, while also managing recruitment and compliance with HR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the execution of HR Operations and support strategic HR initiatives.
• Partner with Managers on organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee relations.
• Advise on performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts from job scoping to the offer phase.
• Support leave management for disability and workers compensation.
• Organize and conduct new hire orientation.
• Maintain employee data in the HRIS system and prepare reports.
• Conduct research and data analysis for proposals and presentations.
• Prepare employee communication documents related to HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology.
• SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in HR regulations and practices.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including facilitation skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
