This role is crucial in ensuring that the HR department adheres to best practices in managing human capital and compliance. The HR Generalist will be responsible for onboarding new staff, processing payroll, and organizing HR tasks effectively. The position requires a proactive approach to handling personnel-related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and employee leaves of absence. In this role, you will maintain accurate records for each employee, including personal information, weekly earnings, absences, and performance reports. You will also be the point of contact for employees and job applicants, answering questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and company policies. Conducting new hire orientations and preparing necessary documentation will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will compile reports and documents related to personnel activities and assist in the interview process for job applicants. The HR Generalist will also be tasked with composing correspondence, preparing presentations, and analyzing information using Google Suite programs. Protecting the integrity of confidential information is paramount, and you will be expected to handle all matters with professionalism and discretion. This position is temp to hire, with a 90-day evaluation period, and requires a flexible schedule, including the possibility of working weekends, evenings, and holidays.
