The Human Resources Generalist at Urban Alchemy plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated Operations units. This full-time position is responsible for formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect the organization's business objectives. The HR Generalist will collaborate with various departments, including recruiting, training, benefits, and payroll, to provide solutions to employee-related issues. They will also guide Operations Supervisors and Directors on performance management and assist in employee relations matters as needed. The HR Generalist is the primary owner of the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies. They will maintain a strong understanding of the organization's culture, plans, and competition, allowing them to effectively nurture a positive and inclusive work environment. This role requires flexibility in handling daily routines and unexpected challenges, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence and compassion in all interactions with staff and stakeholders. In addition to specific HR duties, the Generalist will conduct regular meetings with business units, analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, and provide day-to-day performance management guidance.
