2020 Companies is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team at the Client Support Center in Southlake, TX. This role involves performing a variety of specialized and complex activities in Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on proactive problem resolution and effective departmental communications. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations, performance management issues, and conflict resolution. You will play a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction by promptly resolving issues, applying new perks and benefits, and fostering a positive work environment. Additionally, you will promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace. In terms of compliance, you will conduct training for employees and managers to ensure understanding and adherence to all relevant employment regulations. You will also develop HR initiatives and handle various HR projects to ensure compliance with federal and state mandates. This includes researching discrepancies between employees, payroll, benefit providers, and government agencies to ensure the accuracy of records and compliance, as well as managing worker compensation claims and compliance with ADA and Leave of Absence requirements. Your responsibilities will also extend to benefits administration, where you will assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues, ensuring they understand and utilize their benefits effectively. You will identify and implement new benefits and perks to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Furthermore, you will assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, identifying ways to improve HR policies and procedures, and providing training and support to HR team members. The role requires you to effectively understand information and options, make correct decisions, analyze and interpret information, and react to changing situations consistently. You will need to adjust to changing circumstances as needed and be flexible in responding to issues. This position is sedentary, requiring prolonged periods of sitting, and may involve exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. You will also need to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, and work efficiently in a variety of environments.
