About the position

The HR Generalist at AmeriGas will collaborate with field operations client groups to implement people-related initiatives, focusing on performance management, employee relations, and talent management. This role serves as a key liaison between employees and HR, ensuring effective communication and resolution of HR-related inquiries while driving the HR agenda in partnership with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with field operations, HR leaders, and other HR Business Partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR topics and provide effective resolutions.
  • Partner with Sr. HRBPs to support policies and procedures interpretations, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management guidance.
  • Enhance engagement strategies with field managers to improve work relationships, morale, and retention.
  • Lead investigations to resolve employee relations issues and develop strategies for trends with Sr. HRBPs and leaders.
  • Support the HR team on interim projects and key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role in a corporate environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Strong ethics and integrity with the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience driving alignment and adoption of cross-functional Human Resource programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and establish trust with client leads.
