The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our Human Resources department, focusing on the development, support, and implementation of corporate HR policies, programs, and practices. This includes responsibilities in recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, benefits administration, and payroll support. In this role, the HR Generalist will be responsible for maintaining HR personnel files and records in our HRIS system, ensuring compliance with contract licensure, certifications, and immunization documents necessary for our Joint Commission (JCAHO) healthcare quality certification. The position involves onboarding new hires, which includes preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, drug screenings, and facilitating new hire orientations. The HR Generalist will also support the HR Manager in investigating employee and manager complaints regarding policy violations and assist in implementing corrective actions. Additionally, the role includes supporting employment terminations and conducting exit interviews and surveys to gather feedback. The HR Generalist will manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to post job openings, track applicants, and support the supervision of recruiters. This includes developing job descriptions, posting jobs on various career websites, and maintaining corporate portals on social media platforms for recruitment purposes. The position also involves administering employee benefit programs, coordinating with benefit plan brokers, and assisting with payroll and timekeeping functions as needed. The HR Generalist will contribute to special projects assigned by HR, Accounting, or Operations departments while maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all duties.
