The human resources generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, assisting with important functions such as performance management, training and development, and more. HR Generalists will spend significant time liaising with employees as well as managers and stakeholders, building relationships across the organization. This role requires close collaboration with HR Partners to strategize about HR programs that benefit workplace culture. The HR Generalist will assist in developing and executing procedures, policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business needs. In addition, the HR Generalist will participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements. They will assist in administering employee performance, leadership, and development programs, while also suggesting new procedures and policies to improve employee experience and the efficiency of HR. Ensuring compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws is crucial, and the HR Generalist will update policies and procedures as appropriate. They will also serve as the primary backup for HR Partner business support and lead various projects. The HR Generalist will provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees covering absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and other employee-related matters. They will assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook and contribute to policy development.
