About the position

The HR Generalist at Jones Fish and Lake Management will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance and supporting the HR functions within the organization. This full-time position involves managing employee files, assisting branch managers, and ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. The HR Generalist will also implement onboarding processes and handle various HR programs, contributing to the overall employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Implement new hire orientation and employee onboarding process.
• Administer and execute human resource programs including worker's compensation, benefits, and leave.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors.
• Assist branch management with updating Paycor systems and documents for employees.
• Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Review, track, and document compliance and maintain continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 5 years experience working as an HR Generalist or similar position.
• Associate's degree or additional equivalent work experience required.
• PHR or SHRM CP highly preferred.
• Experience in utilizing Paycor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
