About the position

The HR Generalist position at Innovative Ag Services is a hybrid role focused on supporting various facets of Human Resources, including recruitment, compliance, benefits management, and administrative duties. This position is essential for achieving the company's HR initiatives and requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects effectively. The role involves both in-office and remote work, with a significant emphasis on collaboration within the HR team and across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the corporate office receptionist, greeting visitors and answering phones.
  • Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail for the accounting department and HR team.
  • Manage donation requests from management and customer/member mailings.
  • Administer legal compliance for DOT driver file documents and report on outstanding items.
  • Oversee the random drug testing program and maintain the JJ Keller Learning Management System.
  • Drive recruitment efforts for various employee positions across multiple regions.
  • Train others on the Hirebridge Applicant Tracking System and ADP Onboarding platform.
  • Manage the IAS Wellness program and coordinate FMLA, Disability, and Workers' compensation processes.
  • Support company training initiatives and write reports from the ADP HRIS system.
  • Provide HR coaching to supervisors and assist with employee documentation.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR or related field.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience in recruitment marketing and job fair participation.
  • Familiarity with wellness program management.
