Rover is seeking an HR Generalist II to join our People Team in Seattle, WA. This hybrid position requires a minimum of one day per week in our downtown headquarters, specifically on Thursdays. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in executing various duties within the Human Resources field, supporting both the HR Business Partner and HR Operations team. This position is a 6-9 month contract opportunity and is designed for individuals who are passionate about people and have strong relationship-building skills. As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a trusted advisor to US Frontline Operations employees, providing guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, and investigations. You will coach and develop managers to enhance their capabilities and own the Workplace Accommodations requests, collaborating with vendors and management throughout the interactive process. Additionally, you will address employee inquiries promptly and professionally, support onboarding and offboarding activities, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of HR operations, including talent management, acquisition, training, and compliance. You will be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and you will perform various miscellaneous duties as assigned, which may include participating in global cross-team initiatives.
