About the position

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the administration of all Human Resources documents and processes. This includes a wide range of functions such as Payroll, Benefits Enrollment, Personnel Files, Affirmative Action, Recruitment, Interviewing, Workers' Compensation, and Employee Relations. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The HR Administrator will assist the VP of HR and HR Managers as needed, providing support in various HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the department. In addition to administrative duties, the HR Administrator will play a key role in payroll processing, including managing reports related to employee compensation and benefits. The position also involves recruitment activities, where the administrator will be responsible for coordinating interviews and managing relationships with temporary staffing agencies. New hire orientation is another critical aspect of this role, ensuring that new employees are welcomed and integrated into the company culture effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP of HR & HR Managers as needed/requested
  • Manage a portion of payroll processing
  • Generate and manage reports as needed/requested

Requirements

  • Experience in Human Resources administration
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits enrollment
  • Familiarity with personnel file management and affirmative action policies
  • Strong recruitment and interviewing skills
  • Ability to manage employee relations and workers' compensation processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HR software and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR)
