About the position

Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations, this individual will be responsible for completing administrative duties for the human resources department. This includes being the first line of contact for any HR inquiries, maintaining the HRIS system, processing and updating employee records, ensuring legal compliance with reporting. Those with an aptitude for learning, being resourceful and detailed minded will do well.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and levels throughout RESA.
  • Be a Human Resources (HR) contact and trusted advisor for managers and employees.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Assist with onboarding process including completing I-9s and adding new hires to all systems - HRIS, 401(k), Benefits.
  • Maintain digital employee files and perform system updates as needed (salary, job, termination, benefits coverage).
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity. Manage HR dashboards.
  • Assist manager with all benefit, EEO, 401(k) audits and legal reporting.
  • Have a basic understanding of the HRIS system (UKG) and stay up to date on any changes.
  • Support HRIS upgrades and module integration.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives such as performance reviews, merit increases, Employee Ownership Plan (EOP), commission and bonus communication, open enrollment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Manager of HR Operations on various projects and acquisitions.
  • Audit invoices for background checks, drug screens, swag.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office applications - strong knowledge of Excel.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent business partnering and interpersonal skills. Able to establish rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to develop and interpret data to make sound decisions, Proven continuous improvement experience.
  • Flexible and innovative; the ideal candidate brings a positive, high-energy attitude with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to tailor communication style with all levels in the organization.
  • Action oriented with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to meet deadlines and follow up with external customers and internal customers in a timely manner.
