Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive and inclusive employee experience through proactive initiatives based on feedback.
  • Conduct daily floor walks to build relationships with employees and ensure HR availability.
  • Support the execution of Labor COE and HRBO designed products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support interactions with local governmental agencies and coordinate charitable activities.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics to identify potential risks and support recommendations for operating leaders.
  • Collaborate with union representatives to ensure correct implementation of contract terms and resolve employee union issues.
  • Support investigations related to disciplinary issues, grievances, and arbitration matters.
  • Work closely with safety and occupational health leads to address employee health and wellness concerns.
  • Manage payroll and attendance tracking processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant HR and labor work or internship experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
