The HR Generalist at UGI Corporation will play a pivotal role in partnering with assigned field operations client groups to drive people-related initiatives. This position focuses on various aspects of human resources, including performance management, employee and labor relations, and the execution and enhancement of policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will collaborate closely with UGI's Centers of Expertise (COEs) and other leaders to effectively implement the HR agenda across the organization. In this role, the HR Generalist will be the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR-related topics, providing effective resolutions to various issues. Responsibilities include supporting senior HR Business Partners (HRBPs) with day-to-day HR operations, such as interpreting policies and procedures, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and offering guidance on performance management. The HR Generalist will also work with field managers to develop engagement strategies that foster improved work relationships, morale, and retention within the workforce. Additionally, the HR Generalist will lead investigations into employee relations issues, working to resolve conflicts and evaluate trends in collaboration with senior HRBPs and leadership. This position requires a strong ethical foundation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively. The HR Generalist will also support the HR team on various interim projects and key initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the HR function within UGI Corporation.
