We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team at Ferrero, a family-owned company known for its iconic brands such as Nutella®, Tic Tac®, Ferrero Rocher®, Raffaello®, Kinder Bueno®, and Kinder Surprise®. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in providing HR support to employees and managers, contributing to the management of HR programs and initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This position will initially focus on attendance and HR-related activities, with a gradual inclusion of core payroll responsibilities, including maintaining payroll reports and records, and addressing employee inquiries on payroll-related matters in alignment with the HR team in Louisville. The HR Generalist will serve as an advisor to employees and managers on various HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution. This role will also manage recruitment efforts, which include sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Additionally, the HR Generalist will oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for both new hires and departing employees. The position will involve assisting on HR projects and initiatives, such as performance evaluations, employee engagement programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee attendance records is a key responsibility, along with ensuring compliance with company attendance policies and procedures. The HR Generalist will also maintain HR records and documentation in accordance with data privacy and confidentiality standards, and will be involved in employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Furthermore, this role will support benefits programs and open enrollment activities, retirement plans, and other employee benefits, while serving as a primary point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
