About the position

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will provide HR support for the Aramark/LifeWorks at Nike account. This role is primarily responsible for managing all hourly recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations issues across multiple locations. Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, you will be the first point of contact for front-line managers and hourly employees, overseeing a total population of approximately 500 employees. Your responsibilities will include managing the hourly recruiting and onboarding programs, which involves conducting monthly New Hire Orientation sessions. You will also be tasked with resolving general employee relations issues and providing guidance to both front-line managers and employees. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will provide consultation to managers on recruiting, onboarding, and employment-related policies and compliance. Investigating employee complaints, issues, and concerns will be a critical part of your role, and you will coordinate resolutions with the Sr. HR Manager. This will involve conducting investigation interviews and preparing relevant documentation. You will interact with internal stakeholders to address HR needs pertaining to their locations and assist the Sr. HR Manager with projects related to employee engagement, staffing, and onboarding. Additionally, you may provide benefits and payroll assistance as needed. Responsibilities

  • Manage hourly recruiting and onboarding programs including conducting monthly New Hire Orientation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources supporting 300+ employees.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Employment relations experience including conducting investigations and resolution development.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact, communicate and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop presentations and conduct training.
  • Solid understanding of financial and business objectives and analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Initiative to improve processes as needed.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Nice-to-haves

  • HR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Human Resources planning and organizational development experience desired.
