A large non-profit organization is seeking to hire an HR Generalist to join their growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and HR generalist tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR, particularly within the non-profit sector, and be able to handle various HR functions effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to managing employee relations and ensuring that all HR processes run smoothly. You will coordinate daily benefits processing, which includes handling enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, and rollovers. Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of employee benefits files and update employee payroll records as necessary. Onboarding and offboarding responsibilities will also fall under your purview, ensuring a seamless transition for employees joining or leaving the organization. You will gather employee data and oversee employee interactions, contributing to a positive workplace culture. Employee relations and ad-hoc projects will be part of your daily tasks, making this a dynamic and engaging role.
