This full-time position is crucial for supporting the organization's human capital management and will play a vital role in our daily operations. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of functions within the Human Resources department, including administering pay, benefits, and leave, onboarding new hires, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role requires a proactive approach to managing HR programs and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The HR Generalist will perform routine tasks necessary to administer and execute human resource programs, which encompass compensation, benefits, leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations. Additionally, the role involves performance and talent management, productivity recognition, occupational health and safety, training and development, and managing workers' compensation and disability leave. The ideal candidate will also review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. In this position, you will consult and support managers and employees in all personnel-related matters, contributing to the establishment, optimization, and further development of HR structures and processes, particularly with a focus on digitalization. You will serve as a critical partner in driving employee engagement, collaborating with management on planning and executing key initiatives to enhance overall business unit engagement. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning personnel development measures to facilitate employee and manager growth, talent management, and succession planning. The HR Generalist will conduct or acquire drug screens, background checks, and employee eligibility verifications, as well as implement new hire orientation. Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations is essential, and you will recommend best practices while reviewing policies and practices to ensure compliance. Staying informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law is also a key aspect of this role. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
