Avosys Technology, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team, responsible for the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role involves developing, supporting, and implementing corporate HR policies, programs, and practices that encompass various HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, benefits administration, and payroll support. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in maintaining HR personnel files and records within the HRIS system for all employees, ensuring compliance with contract licensure, certifications, and immunization documents to support the company’s Joint Commission (JCAHO) healthcare quality certification. In this position, the HR Generalist will onboard new hires, which includes preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, drug screenings, and facilitating new hire orientations. The role also involves drafting offer letters and finalizing salary negotiations. The HR Generalist will support the HR Manager in investigating employee and manager complaints regarding violations of company policies and assist in implementing corrective actions. Additionally, the HR Generalist will support employment terminations and conduct exit interviews and surveys, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements while advising management on necessary actions. The HR Generalist will manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to post and track job postings, support the supervision of recruiters using ATS-defined metrics, and recruit for various positions by developing job descriptions and postings on career websites. The role also includes maintaining corporate portals on social media platforms for recruitment and managing access to online recruitment sourcing databases such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and others. Furthermore, the HR Generalist will administer employee benefit programs, maintain communication regarding benefits, and assist with payroll and timekeeping functions as needed.
