About the position

As an HR Generalist at Insight Enterprises, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources function within the organization. This position serves as a single point of contact for various HR-related inquiries, including general policy and procedure, benefits, payroll and compensation, onboarding and offboarding processes, reporting, training, and special projects. You will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to both internal and external clients, ensuring that HR services are delivered efficiently and effectively. Your ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines will be essential in this fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assist in the execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures, focusing on employee engagement and retention strategies. Effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization will be key as you work to align individual and team efforts with the overall organizational needs and direction. You will coach and consult with managers on various HR matters, including performance management, resource management, and team development, while also addressing management challenges through practice and policy interpretation. Additionally, you will partner with business units to provide guidance on workforce planning, including budgeted headcount, attrition, retention, and recruiting needs. Your expertise will be vital in leading the timely resolution of employee relations challenges, where you will identify and collaborate with internal and external resources to address issues while providing counsel that aligns with the company culture. Participation in change management strategies and serving as a representative on company and HR committees will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to model leadership and behavior that fosters successful organizational change.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures including employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Business or related field
  • 2 years of experience in human resources, including employee relations and performance management.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with client groups at all levels.
  • Ability to manage projects and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and employee relations management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
