About the position

The HR Generalist at Impact 360 is responsible for enhancing the delivery of HR services that align with the organization's strategic focus and core values. This role involves managing employee data, maintaining HRIS databases, enforcing policies, and providing high-level HR support to staff at all levels. The HR Generalist will also play a key role in recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and the overall HR function within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the delivery of HR services aligned with Impact 360's strategic focus areas and core values.
  • Serve as the first point of HR contact for staff, troubleshooting and providing timely resolutions.
  • Manage and administer HR policies, best practices, and procedures to support a mission-first culture.
  • Promote employee and student recognition and engagement through innovative programs.
  • Preserve employee data and maintain HRIS databases for accurate reporting and analytics.
  • Create ad hoc reports to meet special needs and assist with job documentation.
  • Administer Workers' Compensation and OSHA processes, and assist with insurance renewals.
  • Track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants.
  • Conduct background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and educate staff on required actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide data and recommendations for decision-making related to compensation and organizational development.
  • Coordinate shared services with Lifeshape HR for payroll and benefits administration.

Requirements

  • An evangelical believer practicing an active faith in a New Testament-based denomination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience required.
  • Strong foundation in human resources including knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint or Canva preferred.
  • Strong communication skills including public speaking and writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve strategic and interpersonal challenges.
  • Skills in planning, organizational systems, recruitment strategies, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player under time pressures.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
