About the position

The HR Generalist position at Archon Resources involves supporting various human resources functions within a dynamic team. The role focuses on recruitment, employee benefits, compliance with employment laws, and training, aiming to enhance the overall HR operations of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general HR functions such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, FMLA leave, training and development
• Assist with development and implementation of policies/procedures
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and employment laws
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding functions
• Coordinate pre-employment background screening and overall employee eligibility
• Oversee new employee orientation and training
• Communicate with internal employees about benefits, organizational policies, open enrollment, and other HR needs
• Help in developing and delivering HR department goals and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field - Required
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience
• DOD experience - Required
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification - Preferred
