About the position

The HR Generalist position at Innovative Ag Services is a multifaceted role focused on supporting various human resources initiatives within the company. This hybrid position involves both in-office and remote work, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects effectively. The role encompasses responsibilities in recruitment, onboarding, compliance, benefits management, and general HR support, contributing to the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the corporate office receptionist, greeting visitors and answering phones.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail for the accounting department and assist the HR team with filing and mailing projects.
  • Administer legal compliance for DOT driver file documents and report on outstanding items.
  • Manage the random drug testing program and maintain the JJ Keller Learning Management System.
  • Drive recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried employees across various regions.
  • Train others on the Hirebridge Applicant Tracking System and ADP Onboarding platform.
  • Manage the IAS Wellness program and coordinate FMLA, Disability, and Workers' compensation processes.
  • Support the HR team in building relationships with educational and community sources for recruitment.
  • Assist with company training initiatives and write reports from the ADP HRIS system.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR or related field.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Previous HRIS experience is mandatory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing and job fairs.
