About the position

As an HR Generalist at Wishing U Well, Inc., you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's culture and supporting its growth. This position involves fostering a positive workplace environment, managing recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring HR compliance, and facilitating employee training and development. You will also oversee benefits administration and serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership, aligning HR practices with the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive workplace environment by serving as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including team-building activities and programs that reinforce company culture and values.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to attract top talent and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Oversee the onboarding experience for new hires, equipping them with necessary tools and support.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies while maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Partner with leadership to implement and update HR policies that support a high-performance culture.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training programs to support professional growth.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits and serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, showcasing a deep understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and talent management.
  • Proficiency in HR software and advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Paylocity and Lever is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives and make sound, strategic decisions under pressure.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a passion for fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience and proficiency in Paylocity (HRIS).
  • Experience and proficiency in Lever (ATS & CRM).
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools to drive data-informed decision-making.
