The Human Resource Generalist is an integral part of the AWG Support Center Human Resources team, responsible for supporting various HR initiatives that include employee relations, leaves administration, performance management, talent acquisition, coaching, and employee training. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and positive environment. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective to the team and operate with the utmost integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring that HR programs are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization. In this position, the HR Generalist will lead the Leaves Administration process for the AWG Support Center team, which involves tracking and maintaining records for leaves of absence and assisting employees with their leave situations. The role also requires collaboration with assigned client groups to identify process improvements and deliver solutions that support decisions related to talent management, employee relations, and employee leaves. Additionally, the HR Generalist will assist employees with benefits inquiries and work closely with the Benefits team to resolve any concerns. The HR Generalist will also be involved in the summer internship program, respond to employee relations issues in partnership with the HR Manager, and handle payroll-related entries, including new hires and terminations. This role supports the annual performance management process, talent planning process, and employee engagement survey, and participates in the Employee Committee to coordinate employee activities and communications. Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating good judgment in all matters is essential for this position, as the HR Generalist will be a key member of the AWG Human Resources team, emphasizing cooperation, integrity, and tact in all interactions with members, teammates, and business partners.
