About the position

The HR Generalist position at Spaulding Group is a full-time role based in Stoughton, WI, aimed at managing the full employee life cycle within a leading property management company. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in human resources, demonstrating a strong capability in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS management, and training and development. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in interpreting and explaining company policies, administering compensation and benefits, managing employee performance, and handling corrective actions and terminations. This position reports directly to the CEO and is integral to fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. In this role, the HR Generalist will oversee the entire employee life cycle, ensuring a seamless experience from recruitment to offboarding. Responsibilities include managing the recruitment process, developing onboarding programs, serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS), and administering training and development programs. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for interpreting HR policies, administering compensation and benefits, managing employee performance, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Additionally, the role involves developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, as well as organizing company events to foster team collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle from recruitment to offboarding.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Utilize and manage an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and coordinate necessary training.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and disputes.
  • Maintain and manage the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics as needed.
  • Assess training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.
  • Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and regulations to employees.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Manage the process of employee corrective actions and terminations.
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Organize and coordinate company events, such as team-building activities and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Sign.
  • Experience with RealPage is preferred.
  • Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
