About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting various HR functions within our organization, offering an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about human resources and employee development.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • In charge of recruiting, interviewing and hiring new staff.
  • Maintains the Employee records and Payroll database.
  • Manages the Bi-weekly Payroll preparation, ensuring accuracy of payroll data and supervisor approved leave requests.
  • Manages the submission of the 401K remittances.
  • Reports the Monthly Workers Compensation.
  • Submits WC Claim injury reports.
  • Handles payroll-related compliance reporting such as W-2s, Form 1095 and Form 5500.
  • Administers benefits including review of monthly health insurance charges and corresponding payroll deductions.
  • Collaborates with different managers to support various HR functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • 1-2 years previous experience in Human Resources and Payroll administration.
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Good knowledge in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws.
  • Familiarity with leave laws including FMLA and Workers' Compensation.
