About the position

Ciocca Automotive is seeking an HR Generalist to support the daily operations of its Human Resources department. This role is crucial in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Generalist will work in a hybrid setting and may require travel to different locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all ADA, LOA, FMLA, and NJ Disability requests
  • Process workers compensation injuries and first report of injury
  • Oversee ACA compliance and WOTC documentation
  • Support the benefits enrollment process for new hires, life events, and open enrollment periods
  • Manage the submission of billing for all ancillary benefits
  • Coordinate and manage safety meetings
  • Support the coordination and tracking of compliance initiatives and employee training
  • Assist with other HR related tasks, including employment/salary verifications, termination/transfer process, reporting, scanning and file uploads

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in an HR setting required
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
  • Must project and maintain an extreme respect to company confidentiality

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Paylocity is a plus but not required
