About the position

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in filling a part-time temporary HR Generalist position located in Irvine, CA. This position performs a variety of responsible and administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs, including employment recruitment, workers compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have high energy and be open to working part-time hours. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring that all personnel functions are carried out efficiently and effectively. In this role, the HR Generalist will be responsible for conducting recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, which includes writing and placing job advertisements on platforms such as Monster. Additionally, the HR Generalist will conduct new hire orientations to ensure that new employees are properly onboarded and informed about company policies and procedures. Maintaining HR information system records is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all employee data is accurate and up-to-date. Compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment is critical, and the HR Generalist will be tasked with ensuring that the company adheres to these regulations. The role also involves handling employee relations counseling, providing support and guidance to employees as needed. Furthermore, the HR Generalist will be responsible for organizing employee recognition events, such as the employee of the month program and holiday events, to foster a positive workplace culture.
